The Post

We are looking to appoint, as soon as possible, a First Line ICT Engineer to assist in the day to day operation of the ICT Services Department, supporting the Bursar. The role will include ensuring the School’s ICT network operates effectively, undertaking maintenance and upgrades with the ICT contract supplier and maintaining registers of equipment, applying Health and Safety procedures to all aspects of ICT support.

To be successful, you will have GCSE (or equivalent) grades A-C in English and Maths and ideally, an appropriate ICT qualification. You should be a competent user of technology and systems and ideally be able to use your experience in the IT industry to further enhance the ICT support services in the school.

The School

Ashfold is a leading independent prep school for approximately 280 boys and girls aged 3-13 years. The school is set in a beautiful Jacobean mansion with its own thirty-acre estate on the edge of the village of Dorton in the Buckinghamshire countryside, close to Thame, Oxford, Bicester and Aylesbury.

The school week runs from Monday – Friday and we offer optional boarding up to four nights a week, as well as a rich and varied extra-curricular programme.
