Job overview
We are seeking to recruit an individual who is able to manage the Petroc fitness centre. The main duties and responsibilities are:
- To oversee the day to day running of the Fitness Room
- To oversee basic recreational activities where appropriate
- To contribute to the successful marketing of the area, including assistance in external events, and open evenings.
- To assist lecturers in the setting up and preparation of specialist lesson equipment
- To be responsible for the maintenance and appropriate storage of sport, fitness and outdoor adventure equipment
- To be responsible for maintaining a safe and tidy fitness environment
- To attend First Aid courses and to administer First Aid when required.
- To assist in the day to day administrative tasks within the area •
- Support the college enrichment programme
- Responsible for fitness instructors and classes
- Please note: This job may involve off-site work and unsociable hours.
