Job overview

We are seeking to recruit an individual who is able to manage the Petroc fitness centre.  The main duties and responsibilities are:

  1. To oversee the day to day running of the Fitness Room 
  2. To oversee basic recreational activities where appropriate 
  3. To contribute to the successful marketing of the area, including assistance in external events, and open evenings. 
  4. To  assist lecturers in the setting up and preparation of specialist lesson equipment  
  5. To be responsible for  the maintenance and appropriate storage of sport, fitness and outdoor adventure equipment  
  6. To be responsible for maintaining a safe and tidy fitness environment 
  7. To attend First Aid courses and to administer First Aid when required. 
  8. To assist in the day to day administrative tasks within the area   •
  9. Support the college enrichment programme  
  10. Responsible for fitness instructors and classes   
  11. Please note:  This job may involve off-site work and unsociable hours.
