An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Childhood Studies and Education team at Chesterfield College. 

The salary scale for the Assessor role is £12,398.49 (£24,779 pro rata) per annum and the salary scale for the Placement Supervisor role is £9,272.49 - £9,833.99 (£18,545-£19,668 pro rata) per annum.

This position is a dual role in which you will spend half of your time in the Assessor role and the other half as Placement Supervisor.

The successful applicant will carry out assessment of QCF’s at levels 1, 2 and 3 and a range of specialist awards, as well as supporting the delivery of QCF training. 

In addition to this you will be responsible for arranging work placements for our students studying Education and Childhood Studies programmes.

Applicants must have GCSE English Language grade C or above and have a minimum of a level 3 qualification in Childcare or equivalent as well as possession of an A1 (TDLB 32/33) or TAQA Level 3. Possession of a V1 (TDLB D34) Award or TAQA Level 4 would be an advantage.

 Excellent communication skills and the ability to work with both students and employers are essential. Flexibility to work additional hours when required and undertake occasional travel when necessary is also essential.
