Job overview

Finborough School is a thriving, ambitious independent co-educational day and boarding school for children aged 2-18 years that has been awarded Excellent in all areas by ISI. The school is set in 40 acres on the outskirts of Stowmarket in Suffolk. Over the past 10 years there has been significant pupil growth (650 pupils) and investment in the facilities.

We have an exciting opportunity for an individual to join our outstanding sports team. The role of Fixtures Secretary is a 15 hour per week, term time only position, working predominantly from home. The successful applicant will be highly organised, self-motivated, have outstanding communication skills both verbal and written and have an unwavering passion for sport.

Attendance at our main sporting events and festivals is essential alongside sports meetings with the rest of your hours being worked flexibly. Liaising with other schools, sports coaches, the catering team, bus companies and the office team, you will be adept at organising yourself and others. Attention to detail is critical to ensure the smooth running of the operation and the safety and wellbeing of our pupils.

A generous salary and benefit package including 24/7 use of our gym and staff discount on school fees is available.

Closing date for applicants is 2nd June with interviews taking place w/c 5th June.
