Start Date: Summer Term 2019

We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and inspiring flute teacher to contribute to the work of our popular and well-resourced music department.  The number of hours will depend on demand for lessons, initially requiring commitment for 3-4 hours per week.

The School is set in 50 acres of grounds in Wrenthorpe, near Wakefield, within easy reach of the M1 and M62, offering an all-through, fully co-educational day school experience for children from 3 to 18.

The successful applicant will be a qualified flute teacher with experience teaching children from beginner through to Grade 8.  The school holds ABRSM and Trinity exams in school so you should be familiar with the requirements of these exam boards and tailor teaching and examination entries to suit the individual.  You should be willing to contribute to extra-curricular music activities, including directing an ensemble from September 2019.
