Football Development Officer – Sport & Public Services
£25,000 per annum (pro rata for part time post)
Seevic College is eager to recruit a Football Development Officer(s) within the Sport & Public Services Department. We are looking for someone that will develop and grow the Seevic Storm Football Academy for male and female players, teams and community coaching. You will already have experience of leading and directing coaching and developing players and have the ability to manage the day to day activities for the football development at the College. This role will require you to build relationships and network throughout the Academy, at local community football clubs and identify and target wider football and sports opportunities to include funding.
You will be involved in the recruitment of learners and attend regular events to promote and raise the profile of football and sporting excellence at the College as well has organizing and running coaching activities during holiday periods for the local and wider communities.
The successful candidate will have strong people skills, excellent communication skills, a positive attitude plus stamina and determination to drive through the support for our learners and community coaching.
You will be an enthusiastic individual who has the ability and desire to motivate players and provide a stimulating, demanding and rewarding learning experience. Overall this is a fantastic opportunity to develop yourself and be part of the development of the Storm Football Academy.
The successful candidate must have a minimum Level 2 Football Coaching Qualification, experience of sport and/or football development, have the ability to work strategically with key stakeholders and possess a full driving licence.
