Cardinal Newman College is a wonderful place to work and this is an exciting opportunity for a suitably qualified and experienced candidate to join our successful and vibrant Modern Foreign Languages Department to support our A Level French students. The post will commence from 28th September 2020 to the 21st May 2021. Following the Year 13 formal external exam period, there will be a reduction in hours to accommodate Year 12 classes only. This period will run from 21st May until 18th June 2021 and these hours will be claimed for. The successful candidate will return each year on a similar basis.

Working Hours: Circa 15 hours per week, term time (subject to student numbers). Following confirmation of student numbers in September 2020 hours offered may vary. Start and finishing times as agreed.

The post will be paid at £16.47 per hour plus £8.26 per hour holiday pay. The total equates to the hourly rate for a teacher at Point 1 of the Teaching Staff Salary spine currently pro rata to £24,098 and incorporates pro rata to 13 weeks holiday pay. Salary will be paid in equal monthly installments throughout the employment period. 

Hours from 21st May 2021 until 18th June 2021 will be claimed for on a casual basis.
