Foundation Director of Safeguarding

Warwick Independent Schools Foundation is seeking to appoint an exceptional Foundation Director of Safeguarding to be the strategic safeguarding lead for the Foundation and to develop the charity’s strategic approach to safeguarding. 

The Foundation Director of Safeguarding will advise the Governors and Foundation Principal, support the Heads and DSLs, and ensure regulatory compliance in all areas of safeguarding.  

This is a new role within the Foundation and is an exciting opportunity for an outstanding candidate to play a central role at the newly augmented Warwick Independent Schools Foundation, which is rightly proud of its impressive campuses educating more than 2800 pupils across its schools. The Foundation Director of Safeguarding reports directly to the Foundation Principal and sits on the Principal’s Group.  

To be successful in this role, comprehensive knowledge of safeguarding legislation, policy, procedure, application and best practice guidance is essential. It is anticipated that the successful candidate will have had significant safeguarding responsibility in a previous role.  

The post is for September, and commands a comprehensive package, commensurate with the importance of the post and the standing of the Foundation.
