Dubai British Foundation (DBF) is a Taaleem school.

Founded in 2014 and located in the thriving Jumeirah Islands area of Dubai, DBF is a purpose-built Early Years British International School, offering England's EYFS (Early Years Foundation Stage) curriculum. DBF is part of the Taaleem family of schools.

DBF caters for many different nationalities and celebrates the diversity of our student body. Our distinctive curriculum supports a wide range of learning opportunities that perfectly suit the needs of children from three to five years of age.

Our Curriculum

We deliver high quality Early Years provision with confidence and pride. Immersed in a language-rich environment with a special focus upon singing to promote effective language acquisition, our students make rapid progress and end FS2 extremely well prepared for the transition into Year One

Who are we?

As a Taaleem teacher you will join one of the largest, most respected education providers in the United Arab Emirates. A Taaleem Teacher will be:

  • Qualified to degree level, holding either a B.Ed or BA with PGCE/PDGE and QTS or equivalent
  • Experienced teaching the National Curriculum for England either in the UK or an international setting
  • Able to demonstrate outstanding standards of teaching & learning
  • Passionate, enthusiastic, creative and dynamic; ready to embrace the challenges and excitement of an International teaching career
  • An exceptional communicator with the ability to work with students and parents alike.
  • A competent user of all Microsoft Office programmes.

About Dubai British Foundation

Located in Dubai’s Jumeirah Islands, this co-educational early years facility for two and a half to five year olds, offers an enriched Early Years Foundation Stage Programme (EYFS) of The National Curriculum for England.

The feeder school to Taaleem’s Dubai British School Jumeirah Park, DBF students enjoy an extensive range of cross-curricular learning opportunities and use both indoor and outdoor areas to extend their learning. Music is a key focus in the curriculum, particularly through the ‘singing for learning’ programme.

The state-of-the-art facilities include an outdoor play area, which was uniquely designed to support every aspect of a young child's gross motor skill development, spacious multi-purpose gym and an outdoor swimming pool.
