Founding Principal/CEO - GEMS Virtus School - Dubai

Due to the continued growth of the market in Dubai GEMS Education is seeking to appoint an outstanding Founding Principal/CEO for its newest school. 

The School 

GEMS Virtus School will open in September 2018 and is modelled on the highly successful GEMS Metropole School, Motor City.  Located in the Al Waha area of Dubai, GEMS Virtus School will deliver the National Curriculum for England enhanced through an integrated approach to the development of 21st Century learning skills incorporating the UAE culture and aspirations. At capacity the school will have approximately 4,260 students, Foundation Stage to Year 13.   

The Post

We require an exceptional leader to become the Founding Principal/CEO of this school in September 2017, a full academic year in advance of the school opening. You will have the opportunity to set the culture and vision, develop and implement a robust and enriched curriculum, as well as developing and embedding systems and practices that ensure excellence in learning and teaching. 

You will play an integral part in the marketing and promotion of the school, ensuring you build strong relationships with the parents and community to secure optimum enrolments and deliver an outstanding school from the outset.  

You will be a highly successful and proven leader with a track record of educational excellence and tangible outcomes. A passionate educator, you should have a recent working knowledge of the National Curriculum for England, as well as excellent communication skills that will enable you to motivate and inspire all.

About GEMS Founders Al Waha

The latest addition to the GEMS Founders Family is now opening in the heart of Dubai Sustainable City, Al Waha.

GEMS Founders Al Waha School (GFW) is a brand new value for money National Curriculum of England School opening in September 2020. Modelled on the highly successful GEMS Founders Dubai School, and GEMS Founders School, Al Mizhar, our new campus will continue its legacy as one of the most sought after value-for-money schools in Dubai. Initially enrolling from FS1 to Year 8 we will expand to a full FS to Year 13 School in subsequent years.
