Citizens School is a mainstream UK curriculum inclusive school based in the heart of Dubai.The school will provide a safe and nurturing learning environment for their students that will allow each one to succeed and excel, including those with special educational needs.
Founding Principal
Term of Employment: Four years
We are looking to recruit an experienced Primary Principal to be in place for September 2020 who has the ability and vision to ensure a smooth opening of the new school in September 2021.
The school will initially open from EYFS to Primary Year 4 with an optimum of 1400 students in the Primary School. The Secondary Section will open as the students’ progress through the school. The school will be offering the National Curriculum in Primary and Cambridge International IGCSE and A Level in the Secondary School. The school will be inclusive and offer Special Educational Needs provision.
The ideal candidate will have had experience in international schools and it is essential that they have led a start–up project of this kind. The ability to be able to offer both academic and commercial leadership is essential.
The founding Principal will be required to engage with stakeholders and other relevant authorities and be responsible for student and staff recruitment. He/she will work closely with the marketing team and be the figurehead for the promotion of the school in the wider community.

A new management company known as Citizens Education Management FZ LLC has been established and a part of the well known ZEI Team will be managing the school project. CEM was created to design, develop and operate inclusive educational communities, in response to a clearly identified need and in line with the directives of the leadership of the UAE and Dubai. Over the next 6 to 7 years, it is the intention of CEM to replicate CE Hub’s success by establishing similar educational hubs in appropriate locations, other Emirates or regional countries. CEM is headed and advised by a team of seasoned professionals with a proven track record in investment and education. Together they lead the creation and manage the development of CE Hub.
