Fractional Lecturer in Health and Social Care (0.8 FTE)
(29.6 hours per week/52 weeks per year)

Salary range SP15 – 34 £18,545 - £32,311* pro rata, per annum (*for qualified staff)

The Directorate of Health, Wellbeing & Society has an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic professional to join their Health and Social Care team.

The successful candidates will have the ability to teach across a range of related courses within the Directorate and act as a personal tutor to an identified number of student groups. A professional qualification in an Allied Health Profession or vocational experience in the Health and Social Care service sector would be an advantage.

Possession of a teacher training qualification would also be an advantage as would the ability to offer teaching across a range of BTEC units including sociology, psychology, lifespan development, infection control, working in health and other care related topics where vocational experience is paramount.  However a willingness to work towards a teaching qualification would be acceptable.
