French & Spanish Teacher

Broomwood Hall School and Northwood Senior, two of four schools in the Northwood family of schools , are successful independent day schools in South West London for children aged 4 to 16. 

We are looking for a passionate and motivated teacher to teach French / Spanish to teach across key stages 2, 3 and 4. The successful candidate would form a part of a team of 3 language teachers at the Prep School and 5 language teachers across Northwood Schools, with plenty of opportunity to meet and share resources. 

The MFL curriculum is designed to give the students the basis for continuing their studies into senior school and develop a passion in children for learning about other cultures and languages. The department plays an important role in the extracurricular life of the School, including running a Class 7 French language residential to Normandy.

Our excellent facilities and resources, traditional values, and specialist and assistant teachers help create a happy working environment for staff and pupils. Teachers benefit from a pay scale which is above those set by the government along with free school lunches, subsidised private health care and teachers’ pension scheme.

The successful candidate may be required to teach another subject.
