Our reputation has been achieved due to our outstanding teaching and results, superb pastoral care and academic, sporting and musical facilities.

We seek an inspiring and enthusiastic French Teacher to join our MFL department (with the potential to become Head of MFL) from September 2019.  The successful candidate  will be required to teach French from Year 4 up to Year 8 Common Entrance/Scholarship standard.

Port Regis has its own salary scale, details of which will be discussed at interview. Salaries may be enhanced by a generous allowance for staff who play a full part in the life of this busy boarding school. 

Accommodation, with boarding duties, may be available for the right candidate.

Port Regis is a busy boarding School. Its core teaching and games programme takes place from Monday to Saturday. You will be entitled to a ‘half-day’ off each week. 

The post is full-time (although applications from candidates wishing to work part-time will be considered: please specify your part-time working requirements in the handwritten letter accompanying your application form).
