Vision for Education is seeking to appoint a Key Stage 2 Teaching Assistant to join our successful teaching team and to work in a local primary school in North Tyneside. The school are looking for a teaching assistant to support in a Year 6 class full time from February 2018. Hours include working 8.30 – 15.30 Monday – Friday each week. The successful candidate will work as a general TA every morning and run Literacy and Numeracy intervention groups every afternoon. 

This larger average-sized primary school has high staff morale, with a governing body that is committed to promoting progression for their Teachers. School leaders have a clear vision for the school understanding areas of strengths and areas for improvement.

The successful Teaching Assistant will have excellent knowledge of the National Curriculum and will be able to confidently support individuals and smaller groups of KS2 children. To be considered for the position of KS2 TA you must:

· Have experience working on a one-to-one basis with pupils

· Hold Teaching Assistant Level 3 Diploma or above  

· Have a genuine desire to become part of a committed team 

· Have previous experience running intervention workshops
