Dubai British School Jumeirah Park are looking for an enthusiastic and efficient Full-Time Office Manager to manage the overall operations of an exciting Performing Arts Academy.
The Office Manager will report directly to the Principal and Creative Director, working closely with them to ensure day-to-day operations of the Academy are handled efficiently in a professional manner.
Working days and hours:
Full time 6 days per week. Up to 48 hours per week.
Dutes include, but are not limited to:
• Data entry & book-keeping
• General Admin
• Creating and executing marketing plans
• Managing a team of Performing Arts teachers
• Answering clients questions and providing customer service
• Preparing schedules and allocating studio space for lessons
• Planning dance shows and events with team effort
• Keeping records of students’ performance and progress
• Selecting and purchasing academy-related products such as uniforms, costumes, resources etc

• Be able to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Excellent inter-personal skills and the ability to work as part of
a team
• Exemplary problem-solving skills and ability to work
independently
• An approachable and professional demeanor
• Proven experience of organising and managing a busy
workload
• Experience working in a fast-paced professional environment, and be highly motivated and responsive
• Strong self-organisation and communication skills
• A good knowledge of Microsoft Office software
• A background and understanding of the Performing Arts
Industry
• BTEC experience a bonus
