Queen’s Gate is a thriving GSA day school for girls aged 4 –18 and is ideally situated in Central London to take advantage of the many educational opportunities on offer. The Science Department has six recently refurbished Science labs, with the most recent development completed last year. Separate Sciences are taught throughout the Senior School and are popular choices at both GCSE and A Level. Girls often read Science or Science related subjects at University.

We wish to appoint from 1st September 2017 a well-qualified teacher to join our thriving and successful and Physics Department. The successful candidate will be required to teach Physics up to and including A Level. The ability to offer some Mathematics or Biology or Chemistry would be useful, but not essential. Applicants will also be expected to play a part in the life of the School, including pastoral responsibilities.

About Queen's Gate School

Queen's Gate School is an all-through independent day school for girls aged 4-18, housed in five Victorian buildings in South Kensington, London. There are around 500 pupils on roll, with a wide range of ethnic and cultural backgrounds, reflecting the diversity of the city.

Queen's Gate School was founded in 1891 by Miss Eleanor Beatrice Wyatt in her parents' home. The present site was acquired in 2005. The school is an educational trust overseen by a board of governors.
