St Ambrose Primary School at Pottsville is seeking expressions of interest for a full-time, temporary Year 6 teacher. To be successful in this role you will be highly motivated, enthusiastic and show a true willingness to work as a team member.


The following skills, ability and experience will be required:

  • Demonstrated contemporary approach to classroom teaching
  • Ability to provide an environment that engages the learner
  • Proven ability to be innovative
  • High degree of proficiency within the area of technology (preferably apple)
  • Ability to work in a collaborative and cooperative environment
  • A practising Catholic who lives out their faith
  • Ability to promote parent involvement and establish a sense of community
  • Current NSW Working with Children Check
  • hold current NESA Teacher Accreditation


Ideally applicants will be committed Christians who worship regularly in their local Christian community, who will support the mission, ethos and teachings of the Catholic Church’s work in Schools.

St Ambrose Primary School is a contemporary, architecturally designed learning space providing a meaningful and authentic Christ-centred approach to teaching and learning, responsive to the needs of our learners. 

Situated in Pottsville, northern New South Wales, it is part of the St Anthony’s Kingscliff Parish.
