Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position is to hold either QTS, QTLS or HLTA status.

Are you a qualified Functional Skills Teacher or HLTA who wants to make a difference to the lives of Young People in the Bradford area? If so, this could be the ideal role for you. The pupils that attend this Alternative Provision are some of the most vulnerable and disaffected in the region, so we are looking for a candidate who can not only engage pupils with outstanding lessons, but also be empathetic towards the young people and show patience. All of the pupils that are placed here have been excluded from mainstream education due to their behaviour or Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs or have been placed at this provision for welfare purposes. The staff that work with these young people need to be fully committed and genuinely passionate about making a real difference to the lives of these young people. If you feel that you meet this criteria and the criteria below, then please do get in touch. This is an immediate start.

The role

As a Functional Skills Teacher at this school, you will be responsible for delivering the Functional Skills Maths and English Curriculum to both KS3 and KS4 pupils.

The school.

•Have 6 months minimum experience working with young people with challenging behaviour either in a school or similar setting

•Be a Qualified Teacher or HLTA
