Tes is supporting the appointment of a Functional Skills Teacher at a Special Education school in Staffordshire.
They are looking for an experienced Functional Skills Teacher to join the fantastic team in Kings Bromley, Staffordshire.
As a Functional Skills Teacher, you will deliver fun based learning to pupils according to their educational needs, in a way that maximises children’s achievement and ability to develop.
This is a great opportunity for a Functional Skills Teacher who wants to develop creative learning opportunities for children with varied and complex needs.
Your work will be challenging and rewarding in equal measure, working with individual and small groups of pupils in a school where they maintain a strong safeguarding culture, where pupils are listened to, respected and involved in as many decisions as possible.
Quality is always top of the agenda and they pride themselves on the quality of what they do. They are looking for a Functional Skills Teacher, experienced in a range of subjects and any other practical based activities that could engage and motivate students.
Already experienced in an SEN/ASC environment, you will be forward thinking, engaging, resilient, and have an innovative style of teaching, motivated by supporting families and helping every child to reach their potential.
