Job overview

Fundraising Development Manager

£40,000 per annum

Full-time plus additional hours

Lancing College has an exciting and rare opportunity to appoint a Fundraising Development Manager within our Foundation Office.  The role plays an important part in managing the fundraising initiatives of the Foundation Office and is vital for assisting with the delivery of the Lancing Foundation fundraising strategy. Working closely with the Foundation Director, the focus of the role is to assist in the day-to-day delivery of the annual fundraising and stewardship programme.

This would ideally suit someone with relevant experience in capital campaigns projects and we are looking for applications from individuals with a proven track record in fundraising from either inside or outside of educational charities.

In return, we offer a competitive salary based on your skills, knowledge and experience, access to meals during your working day, free on-site parking, and opportunities for flexible working.  We also operate a good contributory pension scheme, and all staff have access to our Employee Assistance programme.  You can also access our many music, drama and dance performances throughout the academic year.

The closing date for applications is midday Monday 22 August 2022 although applications may be reviewed on receipt.

Interviews are scheduled to be held on Tuesday 6th and Wednesday 7th September 2022.

The school is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people. Applicants must undergo child protection screening, including checks with past employers and the Disclosure and Barring Service.

Applicants who have lived outside of the UK in the past 10 years are required to provide a Police Check from their country of residence. In addition, and where applicable, successful candidates are required to produce a ‘letter of professional standing’ issued by the relevant professional regulatory authority as proof of past conduct.
