Job overview
We are looking for someone to be a part of the curriculum team within the School for In-Service Training and Development (SISTAD) working with Salvation Army Officers and Employees across the UK. It is an exciting opportunity to develop, organise and manage high quality training, learning and assessment programmes.
Key Responsibilities:
The Tutor Assessor, as part of the curriculum team, will take responsibility for the delivery of a portfolio of accredited courses provided through SISTAD in consultation with awarding bodies. They will inspire, motivate and raise aspirations of learners through their enthusiasm and knowledge. They will demonstrate excellent organisational and administration skills with attention to detail. Planning and delivering effective learning programmes for diverse groups in a safe and inclusive environment.
The successful candidate(s) will:
- Have relevant teaching, assessor/verifier qualifications.
- Be a competent user of ICT within the educational context.
- Be able to demonstrate strong communication skills, self-motivation and commitment to the values, aims and ethos of The Salvation Army.
