Job overview

Future Leader of Computing

Required for January 2018

Salary MPS/UPR + TLR

Computing is a developing department and is an inspiring and vibrant place to teach, where teachers are eager to nurture within the classroom and beyond the leaders of tomorrow.  This post is a great opportunity for a teacher in their first 3 years of teaching who is well qualified, curious, motivated  and has the potential to be a dynamic leader: putting our children at the centre of all they do.

You will have a strong vision for Computing; a commitment to young people and their development as learners and members of the community.  You will have had a successful start to your career in learning and teaching with experience of collaborating and engaging with curriculum design and sharing outstanding practice.  This post is ideal for an outstanding teacher who is eager to lead on the next level, with opportunities within the school, networking within our alliance and with centres of excellence in computing and IT. You will have an interest in professional learning and some experience in leading and influencing others; as part of your fast track to leadership we will expose you to leadership training, opportunities to shadow outstanding practitioners in different aspects of leadership, enabling you to hone your own leadership skills.

We very much look forward to meeting you.
