FTE:                 3-5 days (please state preference) term time + 1 week

Salary:             Qualified tutors salary range £28,898 - £43,581 FTE. £14,509 - £24,181 actual.

We are looking for a Futures Tutor to lead and coordinate the Futures programme for RSBC’s Dorton College and to teach futures sessions to students both 1-1 and in groups.

 

Some of the main duties of this role include:

·        Coordinating work experience placements or work-related learning for all students

·        Effective planning of teaching/learning within work and employment curriculum areas

·        Implement appropriate objective setting, recording and reporting & evaluation of educational work programmes

·        Conducting initial visits to work placements to assess suitability and individual needs of student are fully met.

·        Attend or contribute to reviews and meetings, reporting on Futures during placement at the college, in line with the students’ EHCP outcomes.

 

The ideal candidate will have a degree or equivalent with qualified teacher status; demonstrable ability as a reflective practitioner with a commitment to continuous learning and development; Knowledge and understanding of processes for student assessment, progress, evaluation and reporting of attainment.

 

No prior experience of working with VI children is necessary.
