Games Coach (Hockey and/or Swimming Specialist)
We are seeking an inspirational Games Coach, with a specialism in hockey and/or swimming, to provide high-quality coaching across a range of sporting disciplines to both boys and girls. You will engage with pupils of all abilities, encouraging participation and promoting ‘sport for all’ while fostering a love of sports in our vibrant school community. The role will include managing allocated teams during fixtures and actively contributing towards the School’s co-curricular programme, as well as reporting on pupil progress.
We are looking for someone with a positive and proactive approach, with a love and enthusiasm towards the education of children. The successful applicant will be required to have hockey coaching and/or swimming teaching qualifications, alongside wide sporting experience.
The position is 0.6FTE, working Monday to Wednesday (08:00-18:00) during term time and INSET days. The weekly working pattern may be subject to change for September 2025.
The annual salary is £19,505 (£35,508 FTE) and will be paid in twelve equal monthly instalments.

St Peter’s School is an independent preparatory day school for around 290 girls and boys between the ages of 3 and 13.
