We are seeking to appoint a Gap Assistant for the forthcoming academic year, starting in August 2026, on a 12 month fixed term contract at All Hallows School, an innovative, co-educational independent prep school in the heart of Somerset.

Gap Assistants are seen as an important part of the Pastoral, Academic, and Co-curricular teams at All Hallows. This is an exciting opportunity to explore and gain experience of working with young people, ages 2-13 years, in a supportive environment and allow you to decide if teaching or pastoral care is the right career path for you. You will have the opportunity to get involved with various activities during the school day, such as supporting in a classroom environment, supporting and supervising sport lessons and other extracurricular activities, to be resident on site, and to help care for the boarders after the academic day has finished and at the weekends.
