IAPS Day Preparatory School

Shrewsbury House School is looking to appoint Gap Assistants for the whole of the new academic year 2024-25 (September 2024 to July 2025). We offer the opportunity to work with and learn from our experienced team of staff. The Gap Assistants will be involved in supporting a range of academic and non-academic areas: Sports, Maths, English and Art. These positions would suit a recent school leaver looking to gain valuable experience in a thriving, academically robust educational environment.

Our Gap Assistants are valued members of our team and we aim to ensure that they gain unique work experience and have an exciting and life-enriching Gap year. The Gap Assistants have the opportunity to become involved in and provide support to the wider community of the school. This is a paid position and the salary will be approximately £16,000 paid over 11 months from September 2024 to July 2025. The role is 40 hours per week, term time plus 3 days either side of term.
