One of the finest co-educational independent schools in the country  Caterham School is an HMC co-educational day and boarding school for pupils aged 11 to 18 years.  As a family school with Christian values, we provide a caring and stimulating environment for around 900 pupils. In 2015, Caterham School was ranked by The Times as one of the top 10 co-educational day and boarding schools in the South East England based on A* - B A level results. We offer a wide range of co-curricular activities enabling the students to develop their skills and interests. The successful applicant will be expected to contribute to the busy co-curricular life of the School. 


The beautiful 200 acre campus is a five minute drive from J6 of the M25 and a short walk from the local station.  Graduate Assistant (Girls Games)  On a daily basis, Graduate Assistants are timetabled to team teach and assist with all the Department’s PE and Games lessons.  In addition to assisting with the organisation of equipment and instructing pupils with special needs, e.g. non-swimmers, they can contribute to more differentiated learning by teaching small groups within a lesson.  

 

Those who offer another subject specialism are also encouraged share their expertise in supporting Departments elsewhere in the School.  This role would be ideally suited to those with a passion for sport and young people and wishing to gain relevant experience before embarking on a formal teaching qualification.  The current, prorated (actual) salary for this term time role is £15,000 per annum.
