Terrington Hall School is looking to appoint a GAP student for the 24/25 academic year who has a special interest in supporting the performing arts.

GAP Students play an important role in the development and well-being of our pupils and in the smooth running of the School. With responsibilities predominantly in the performing arts, this role will assist the Director of Performing Arts and co-teach some pre-prep lessons.  Responsibilities will also span the boarding house, classroom, sports, enrichment activities and beyond.   

Ideal candidates will be responsible, enthusiastic, energetic and work well in a team. The ability to play the piano to accompany choirs/groups is desirable also to have the skills to set up and support music ensembles (e.g. orchestra). Flexibility is also essential as GAP Students perform a diverse range of tasks. This position is well-suited to School/ University leavers interested in pursuing a career in teaching.

Accommodation and all food in term time provided.

Terrington Hall is a popular co-educational day and boarding Prep school in North Yorkshire, 12 miles north of York. Terrington Hall is a vibrant stand-alone Prep School with 200 pupils from 3-13, the vast majority of whom go on to the leading senior independent schools at 13.
