Woodbridge Park is on a journey to outstanding and we need outstanding people to join us. We are a multi-site Alternative Provision for children and young people with complex needs and we provide a vital service to the families and schools of Hounslow. We are proud of our service and we need inspirational, patient trailblazers who believe that every child matters and who will never give up on our amazing pupils.

 

As our service provision continues to expand to meet emerging needs, we are now looking for a Gateway, Restart and Outreach Leader to provide leadership over some of our highly important provisions. We a need kind-hearted, compassionate person who wants to commit to changing lives for the better.

 

We need a very special person with a heart for working with some of the most disengaged and vulnerable children and young people in West London. The vacancy is for 36 hours per week, 44 weeks per year on a fixed term contract until 31.03.24 in the first instance.

We need someone who is deeply passionate about driving positive change for children and young people and who will leave no stone unturned in the relentless search for the golden moment when it all clicks together for someone and a child or young person sets off on a better path.

You will need to be highly literate, able to multi-task and communicate effectively with a wide range of audiences, including a variety of external agencies and partners. You will be a team player, creative and determined.

 

We can offer a varied professional experience, thanks to the dynamic, ever-changing nature of Gateway and the Commissioned Roll– no two days are the same. We can also offer outstanding professional development with planned investment in staff development. We place a high regard and focus on staff wellbeing having recently been awarded the NEU Workload Charter Status and we offer all staff six early finish days per school year to support their wellbeing.

 

Previous experience is essential of working with students in a supporting role. Candidates will have strong behaviour management skills and a range of experiences with complex children and young people, and current certificates or a willingness to train in and use Team Teach and First Aid as part of your role.

 

Candidates will be able to inspire and motivate our students to get the very best meaningful outcomes and show a commitment to raising the achievement levels and self-esteem of disaffected young people

 

OFSTED May 2019 judged WPES as a GOOD school.
