About the College

St Vincent’s College is an amalgamation of three Ashfield Schools – St Vincent’s Catholic Primary School, De La Salle College and Bethlehem College into one co-educational K-12 college. As a General Administration Coordinator, you are co-responsible with the Pastor, Principal and other Catholic lay leaders for the evangelising and catechising mission of the Church within an educational context. Reporting to the Principal or Delegate, the General Administration Coordinator plays a vital role in ensuring that the SCS values of empathy, excellence, truth, curiosity and collaboration are drivers for establishing a thriving Catholic community.

To be considered for this role, you must have experience demonstrating that you can deliver in the following areas:

  • leading the effective management of the day-to-day operations of the College
  • leading the staff and student administration processes, including Compass, timetable construction and management, school subject selection, school calendars and College events
  • effectively managing staff absences, staff replacements, duty rosters, onboarding and induction of casual teachers and room changes
  • collaborating with College Deans, Wellbeing Staff and support staff to ensure Compass is configured, updated and maintained to support the effective operation of the College
  • collaborating with the leadership team to provide strategic support with system and College initiatives to manage change
  • developing and facilitating effective and evidence-based professional learning and dialogue to build the capacity of teachers
  • leading effective communication with stakeholders to ensure consistently high expectations, quality practices and continuous improvement across the College
  • contributing (supporting) to a ‘network approach’ that promotes the reciprocal benefits of school system partnerships.
