This stimulating and challenging role will build on and diversify your professional and personal knowledge, skills and understanding of school improvement and provide you with transferable expertise and experience.

In this role you’ll join a strong county-wide team of inspectors and advisers offering professional support, challenge and intellectual stimulus to a diverse community of schools who have high expectations of our service.

As a Leadership and Learning Partner for a group of special schools you’ll enhance their journey to excellence and promote effective partnership working.

A successful track record in special educational needs leadership that demonstrates your capacity to contribute to the ongoing evolution of excellent learning and pedagogy is essential. You’ll understand what supports and develops the capacity of school leaders to embed ambition and drive improvement in their schools. You’ll relish the opportunity to make a real difference to the achievement and well-being of children and young people in Hampshire schools.

The post is home based but with good support from our local education office.
