From September 2018 we are looking to appoint an outstanding Geography teacher, who will enjoy working in a school that values and delivers excellent professional development. The successful candidate will be capable of inspiring students through their passion for the subject, and have a firm belief in the potential of all students. Experience of teaching Geography to KS5 is desirable.
If you are already an established Geography Teacher and would be interested in taking on additional responsibilities, a TLR is available, based on your experience.
Bushey Meads School is part of the growing Bushey St James Trust. We have strong links with local primary schools where good practice and ideas are shared across the Trust. Transport links are good with the M1, M25, A1 and A41 being close by and local bus routes are only a short walk.
Applications are welcome from both NQTs and more experienced colleagues who are looking to further develop their career. We offer excellent NQT support including a bespoke programme of training and mentors and there are excellent opportunities for professional development. The ability to offer a second humanities subject would be an advantage.
