German teacher - Zero Hour
We seek a vibrant, well-qualified, and committed teacher of German to deliver private language lessons in our Westminster campus. This position will start as language acquisition but there may be opportunities for the teaching of literature in our IB Diploma Programme at a later stage. Of prime importance is a love of teaching; you need to be energetic, focused and reliable in the classroom, and to foster passion and dedication in students.
The exact hours will depend on student enrolment and the successful candidate will be able to start as soon as possible.
Person Specification
The successful candidate will have:
● A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
● at least 2 years relevant teaching experience
● a proven record of excellent teaching
● a schedule that allows for the necessary commitment to the role
The successful candidate will:
● join a highly experienced and supportive team
● be responsible to the Head of Faculty
● foster good links with parents
● meet all work deadlines
● ensure that feedback to students is regular and consistent, and that students learn from it
● be internationally-minded and sympathetic to the values of the IB
