Job overview

We are looking to recruit a highly motivated individual to join our busy team providing a professional governance and company secretarial service to the LSBU Group, comprising London South Bank University, South Bank Academies (SBA) and South Bank Colleges (SBC). The role is 3 days a week and will focus on supporting the SBA Board and its governance.

You should have excellent interpersonal skills, be able to form collaborative professional relationships, be proactive and have the ability to manage a wide and varied workload to tight deadlines.

The ability to deal politely and professionally with all members of the LSBU Group, our academy schools and external professionals is essential to the role.

The post holder will support meetings of the SBA Board and its sub-committees, manage the clerking services to the School Advisory Boards and undertake a range of other governance and company secretarial tasks.

Educated to degree level, ideally you should have experience of academy school governance and have an interest in qualifying, or have qualified, as a chartered secretary.

Details about the role

This is a permanent part time role – 21 hours a week.

Please note that the University is operating a hybrid working model which means a mix of working on site and from home, confirmation of days work on campus are arranged with the line manager.
