Graduate Assistant:

We are seeking to appoint for September 2021, a total of 4 Graduate Assistants for the period of 1 year.

This role will suit those intending to pursue a career with young people and/or sport or music. For example, but not limited to, teaching, coaching, social services, mental health, youth work.

You will be working within an independent boarding school to support staff and pupils. You will have the opportunity to run sporting or music activities, acting as a role model for the pupils.

If you are passionate, caring, have energy, are willing to be adaptable and flexible and want to put children’s needs first, enjoying getting the best out of children and young people to make a difference to their lives, then this is the role for you.

Ruthin School is a co-educational, independent boarding school for around 300 pupils aged between 11 and 19. Situated near the beautiful Clwydian Range in Denbighshire, North Wales, Ruthin School is one of the oldest public schools in the United Kingdom.

The remuneration is £12,000 fixed term contract from 1 September 2021 to 6 July 2022
