We require an enthusiastic and talented graduate who is looking for experience of working in an independent school. This exciting post is likely to appeal to a drama and theatre graduate (from a university or drama school) or an aspiring teacher.

 

The role is flexible and able to respond to the interests and expertise of the successful candidate. This may involve providing support to the directors of school shows and stage management, supporting academic teaching and helping prepare pupils prepare performances through additional rehearsals.

 

The School prides itself on the vibrancy of its co-curricular Drama and stages numerous largescale productions across the year which are superbly resourced and of the highest calibre. Regular scratch performances and showings of devised work undertaken outside the curriculum are a particular strength. We welcome candidates with a passion for collaborating with young practitioners to create theatre that is both immersive and thought-provoking.

About North London Collegiate School

North London Collegiate School is an independent all-through day school for girls, based in Edgware. Its motto translates from Latin as "in the hope of labour". There are 1,065 aged 4-18 on the school roll.

The school was founded by Frances Mary Buss at the family home in Camden in 1850. The current site was acquired in 1929, and the school was fully relocated in 1940. The main site is a country house built in the eighteenth century. Since 2011, North London Collegiate School has had a franchise school in South Korea.
