We are looking to appoint a Graduate Drama Teacher who is enthusiastic, well-motivated, conscientious, and willing to learn, whilst playing a key role within a small and busy Drama department. 

The Graduate Drama Teacher will work across both academic and co-curricular Drama. They will work with pupils in LC1 (year 7) during curriculum time to create a production focusing on participation and will run a Drama club in co-curricular time for LC2 and LC3 (years 8 and 9) to perform a short production in the summer term. 

The Graduate Drama Teacher will also support pupils’ exam preparations for GCSE and A level and for those preparing for National Youth Theatre and Drama College/degree auditions as well as supporting weekend Drama activities such as departmental production rehearsals and workshops.

The post holder will have the opportunity to develop their career by working across departments particularly those delivering the arts such as Dance, English (creative writing) and Music and in supporting the department to develop new co-curricular activities.
