SWB Academy is a vibrant, successful 11-19 Academy. We have world class facilities, highly professional staff and students who are keen to learn.  The post-holder will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic humanities team who support the work of the Academy in a proficient and professional way.

We are looking to appoint an outstanding Graduate Progress Assistant to work in our Humanities team. This post is ideally suited to a History, Geography or Business Studies graduate looking to take the next step to initial teacher training.  The post will support learning in the faculty covering lessons where necessary and ensuring students receive high quality teaching and learning in the absence of their usual class teacher. In addition, it will aid the management of resources, lesson preparation, updating faculty displays and supporting faculty trips and visits. You need to be a very good ‘people person’, have a positive approach, be extremely well organized, very proactive and committed to making a difference.  In return you will get to work in an innovative and supportive Academy.
