Founded in 2015, Le Régent is a Swiss boarding and day school with an international academic programme. Its ultra-modern campus in the heart of the Valais Alps in the stunning ski resort of Crans-Montana is designed for up to 300 students from Switzerland and around the world.
Le Régent follows a rigorous academic programme in English in preparation for the International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma Programme while nurturing the individual talents of each student with its diverse extracurricular offering, including sports, arts, music and mountain activities.
Le Régent has been under the guidance of Institut Le Rosey (www.rosey.ch) since August 2019.
We are seeking to appoint three graduate interns for the 2020-2021 school year. These are residential positions from September 2020 until the end of June 2021. They would suit recently qualified graduate students looking to take a break after their studies or someone who is considering the teaching profession in the future.
One intern will be attached principally to the Junior School (children aged 3-12). The two others will be attached to the senior school (one housed in the girls’ boarding house and the other in the boys’).
We are looking for flexibility, energy and experience of working with children; some knowledge of both English and French as well as a liking for outdoor activities and sports (especially winter sports) would be a distinct advantage as would a readiness to live in an alpine environment.
Le Régent is committed to the highest standards of safeguarding and candidates will be expected to provide evidence of their suitability to work with children.
