Our School

An education at Churchfields is broadly traditional, academic and rigorous. We provide pupils with an education that equips them with the knowledge, skills, cultural capital and confidence they will need to thrive in their next stage of schooling, university and beyond.

Inspiring Excellence

We work hard to provide excellence and expect pupils at school and at home to work hard too.  We want parents and carers to play an active part in their child’s education and to support our staff.

We provide a school where pupils can concentrate and where they feel safe to work hard and learn from excellent teaching and a rich curriculum.

History

Churchfields Junior School is situated in South Woodford in the London Borough of Redbridge. Our school opened in 1874 and is 150 years old. It has occupied the same site over three centuries. In 2011 a rebuild was completed.
