Are you passionate about Chemistry, and want to use your expertise to provide new insights and perspectives to students in a scholarly and supportive environment? We are looking for an excellent graduate of Chemistry or recently qualified teacher to join our highly successful department and further develop their craft alongside highly skilled colleagues.  

North London Collegiate School has a strong programme of CPD and training available for teachers at all stages of their career, and we are particularly keen to help develop those who are passionate about Science to make the move into teaching. 

Founded by Frances Mary Buss in 1850, the North London Collegiate School is a highly academic girls’ independent day school which occupies a superb 30 acre site in Canons Park, North West London. 

North London Collegiate School has its own salary scale, with the role being paid according to experience and qualifications.

About North London Collegiate School

North London Collegiate School is an independent all-through day school for girls, based in Edgware. Its motto translates from Latin as "in the hope of labour". There are 1,065 aged 4-18 on the school roll.

The school was founded by Frances Mary Buss at the family home in Camden in 1850. The current site was acquired in 1929, and the school was fully relocated in 1940. The main site is a country house built in the eighteenth century. Since 2011, North London Collegiate School has had a franchise school in South Korea.
