The successful applicant will require a genuine understanding of children and have a keen interest in promoting their development and well-being and first and foremost, be an enthusiastic, energetic sportsperson and an experienced Hockey, Rugby, Netball, Tennis or Cricket player with some coaching qualifications. The ability to work as part of a team is vital, as the Graduate Assistant will work closely with the Director of Sport as well as all other staff involved in coaching and managing teams in both the Senior and Junior Schools.
The role holder will primarily be appointed to work in a coaching and pastoral role; however there may be opportunities for candidates to gain some experience of teaching depending on their individual interests, skills and enthusiasms. Flexibility and a willingness to be involved with a variety of activities are essential and the ability to live on site at the School.
The position will be offered on a fixed term one-year contract between 01 September 2018 and 31 August 2019.
