Whitgift is a leading independent day and boarding school for boys, with approximately 1,500 pupils and over one hundred boarding pupils.  It set in an attractive 48-acre parkland site in South Croydon with excellent transport links to London, Surrey and the South Coast.

School has an outstanding tradition of sporting success in a variety of sports.  We are seeking a graduate to work within the Physical Education and Games Department.  The right candidate will join us initially for a one-year contract (1 September 2021 to 7 July 2022) with the option of a possible extension to a second-year developmental post (July 2022 to July 2023).  

The post would suit someone with a Sports Science or sports related degree or equivalent who has a passion for sport and is committed to developing talent.  No formal teaching experience is required but an understanding of the expectations required at a thriving school such as Whitgift is beneficial. Expertise in cricket and football in particular would be an advantage, but all applications will be considered.  School accommodation may be available.
