Job overview

We are looking to recruit a confident and outgoing person to contribute to the extensive sports and boarding provision at Denstone College.

The Role:

In this term time role you will be heavily involved in the coaching and running of teams in a number different sports including Netball, Hockey and Athletics, you will also get the opportunity to officiate in these sports too. This role also has a large link to boarding life at Denstone, where you will be an integral part of the boarding community, working with boarding colleagues to deliver quality pastoral care and supervision of activities for boarding pupils. The ideal candidate will have

  • A degree or currently enrolled on and part completed a degree in a relevant subject.
  • Some experience of working with / coaching children.
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills across a breadth of environments and media.
  • Organisational and administrative skills including a knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite of programs, including Word and Excel.
  • A commitment to instilling and developing excellence in young people.
  • Ability to engage and motivate young people.

Denstone College is an independent day and boarding school of more than 775 pupils aged 4-18.
