Full time - 32 hours per week - 39 weeks per annum - 

Flexible start date: April/September 2017 

Salary scale 5 – Actual pay £17,189 to £18,720

Grange Park is an expanding 3 / 4 form entry Primary school set within extensive grounds and serving an increasingly diverse cultural community. Children are happy and enjoy school, parents support the school and their children, and staff are friendly and hardworking.  

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for inspiring, enthusiastic and committed Graduates with a 2:1 degree or higher, to join our school to provide support and assistance in the classroom.  This offers excellent experience for anyone considering teaching as a future career and training as a teacher through BA, PGCE or GTP/School Direct routes.   

As a Graduate Teaching Assistant you will be supporting the class teacher working with the whole class or smaller groups to ensure all children reach their full potential. The ideal candidates must be flexible (as every day is different), adaptable and very hard working. If you are passionate and committed about a career as a primary school teacher then Grange Park Primary School could offer you the experience required for gaining a place on a teacher training programme.   

Grange Park is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of all pupils attending the school. As the duties of this post involve regular contact with children, any offer to the successful candidate will be conditional upon an Enhanced Disclosure being obtained via the Disclosure and Barring Service.
