If you are a recent graduate or still studying at university or college and are looking for your steps into an education setting, please read on. 

With the start of the new academic year now fully underway we at SMART Teachers are extremely busy in East London looking for graduates who are keen to pursue a career in education. We are working with approximately 20 SEN schools across Hackney, Waltham Forest, Tower Hamlets, Havering, Redbridge, Newham and Barking & Dagenham, who are seeking daily cover, part time and full time teaching assistants. Our schools cater for a range of Sen needs such as PMLD, MLD, speech and language, behaviour, and SLD. 

Do you need previous SEN experience? 

Not necessarily, our SEN schools are more interested in how candidates interact with pupils- if you do not have previous SEN experience but would like to be considered please apply below. 

Requirements

• Right to work in the UK

• DBS registered to the update service or be willing to complete one

• Be able to provide two recent references

• Previous experience with working with children
