Graduate Trainee - Sports Assistant (Wellbeing)

Leyton Sixth Form College offers a wide range of A level and vocational courses to approximately 2,300 full-time 16-19 year old students. We are currently seeking to appoint a Graduate Trainee to join our outstanding Sports team. The college has a strong ethos of enrichment and sports participation, and is fully committed to providing extensive activities for all of our students. Our physical activity provision and facilities are notably of a high standard.

This is an exciting opportunity for you to gain valuable work experience in coordinating opportunities for our students and the wider college community to engage in activities which promote good health and wellbeing.  You will plan, deliver and publicise a range of physical activities and wellbeing events, and encourage active participation in our extensive programme of activities.

You should have excellent communication, organisational and interpersonal skills. Experience of coaching young people, and knowledge of local sports and physical activity providers are beneficial for this role.
