Haberdashers’ Boys’ School and Haberdashers’ Girls School are seeking to appoint an additional resource to their strong Grounds team.

The Schools have a large range of high-class sports facilities including cricket, rugby, football, lacrosse, tennis and Astro pitches. The Grounds team prides itself on providing the highest standard and quality of workmanship. You will maintain the grounds and sports pitches to a high standard throughout the seasons and to facilitate the transition from one sport to another, factoring in time for renovation and upkeep of the pitches.

Candidates should have a working knowledge of natural and synthetic sports surfaces and the ability to operate a variety of grounds equipment. You will be enthusiastic, willing to work outdoors in all weathers and be able to work unsupervised, with the willingness to be flexible to support sporting fixtures. You will hold a minimum of a Level 2 qualification in Horticulture and Sports Care of equivalent. 

This is a full time role, 40 hours per week, excluding breaks, Monday to Friday, with occasional work at weekends.
