Group Financial Controller
We have an exciting opportunity for a Group Financial Controller to join our finance team and to be responsible for the effective and efficient management of the Finance function providing strategic and operational leadership.
The post holder will ensure the College Group has robust accounting and financial information systems and will deliver accurate, relevant, and timely financial information to all relevant business partners and stakeholders.
With Responsibility for the effective and efficient financial management of the College, including preparation of monthly and annual financial and management accounts, ensuring financial transactions comply with relevant accounting standards; audit compliance; internal financial control; and completion of the College’s financial reports and returns.
The role will also involve preparing and issuing monthly and annually financial and management information reports, including the preparation of the Group’s year end accounts.
The post holder will act as line manager, undertaking induction, probation, appraisals, and performance management processes as required within the department as well as deputising for the Vice Principal of Finance & Corporate Service in Financial matters during periods of absence.
